Level 2 Facilitator
Deepening shadow work, expanding your capacity to hold others
Meta Pets Facilitator is the second step of the Method. Building on the Explorer foundation, you deepen your relationship with the Shadow → Gift → Essence process and learn to hold it — not only for yourself, but for the individuals and groups you accompany.
Level 2 of 4 in the Meta Pets certification path.
From your own process to holding it for others.
Working with the shadow is not eliminating what unsettles us, nor avoiding what creates tension. It is recognising it, understanding it, and transforming it into a resource — the same principle at the heart of the Method, now applied to the more delicate terrain of accompanying someone else through it.
As a Facilitator, you move from private reflection into shared space. You learn to notice gaze, breath, posture, and pause; to reflect a person's exact words before adding your own; and to let a card, a mantra, or a Gestalt dialogue open a doorway without turning it into a fixed interpretation. The same care that makes the Method safe for one person is what makes it safe to hold for a group.
Because this level asks you to hold more, it is also where the Method meets professional coaching standards: your practice is observed against ICF competencies, and the training carries ten hours of Continuing Coach Education recognised by the International Coaching Federation.
What you'll experience
We live in a moment where people aren't just looking for quick answers.
They're looking for spaces where they can understand themselves, express themselves, and reconnect from a more human, more conscious place.
The Meta Pets Facilitator Certification exists to accompany those who want to facilitate transformation processes using symbolic, creative, and experiential tools. Through coaching, metaphor, deep listening, imagination, and archetypal work, this training proposes a new way of accompanying people and groups. You'll learn to hold spaces where each person can discover their own answers.
Because when the way we observe changes… the way we live, accompany, and grow changes too.
What you'll cultivate
Discernment
Read what a card, a silence, or a group is really asking for — before choosing how to respond.
Presence
Stay grounded in the room, even when something difficult surfaces in someone else's process.
Group holding
Extend the safety and structure of 1:1 sessions into circles, classrooms, and teams.

The creator of the method
Luis Miguel Gallardo
Luis Miguel Gallardo is the founder of the World Happiness Foundation and creator of the Meta Pets Method. Over more than a decade, he has built one of the most ambitious frameworks for conscious transformation — combining Jungian depth psychology, Gene Keys, Theta healing, Gestalt dialogue, and positive psychology into a single living system.
The Meta Pets Method emerged from his own journey — more than 10,000 hours of practice, research, and facilitation. Today it is practiced by coaches, therapists, and educators in more than 50 countries.
Frequently asked questions
Is the training recognised by the ICF?
Yes. The Facilitator level includes 10 hours of Continuing Coach Education (CCEU) recognised by the International Coaching Federation.
How much is the Facilitator training?
USD 847. A limited number of partial foundational scholarships (50% and 75%) are available through the World Happiness Foundation — apply on this page.
Do I need to complete Explorer first?
Meta Pets Explorer (Level 1) is recommended before Facilitator, since this level builds directly on the Shadow → Gift → Essence practice you develop there. If you already have significant coaching, therapy, or facilitation experience, reach out and we'll help you find the right starting point.
Will I actually facilitate groups during the training?
Yes. From the middle of the program onward you practice in trios and small groups, with observer feedback aligned to ICF competencies, building toward a supervised practice demo in your final session.
What if something difficult comes up for someone I'm holding?
Meta Pets is a coaching and self-inquiry tool, not therapy or diagnosis. You'll learn clear professional boundaries — protecting confidentiality, never diagnosing from a card, and referring out when someone needs clinical care.
In which languages is the training available?
The Method is currently taught in English and Spanish, with a Portuguese cohort in preparation.
